Fluorinated Compounds

Fluorinated Compounds

Fluorinated compounds typically refer to a category of organic compounds where the molecules contain carbon-fluorine (C-F) bonds.

The introduction of fluorine atoms into drug molecules can enhance their permeability, metabolic stability, regulate their pKa and lipid solubility, and influence the absorption, distribution, and biological activity of these molecules. Currently, over 20% of drugs on the market are fluorinated compounds, primarily concentrated in areas such as anti-tumor, anti-infection, cardiovascular, respiratory, and nervous system diseases.

Abosyn has been actively involved in the realm of fluorinated compounds for many years, offering a range of fluorinated molecular building blocks, with a specific emphasis on compounds featuring trifluoromethyl (CF3) groups.
